01 Tell It What to Find
0:02 Your company is in the news more than you think, and less than your clippings say.
0:07 Your team tells Periscope your name, products and people, in plain words.
02 One Press Update
0:12 One button starts a press update, and it always asks before it spends.
0:17 Round after round, an AI planner picks which of a dozen sources to search next.
On screen: AI planner. A dozen sources, one run.
03 The Answer in a Line
0:23 The answer comes in one sentence: independent press rose to 38 articles, up 81 percent.
0:30 It calls press up or down only when the change beats the normal swing.
On screen: How we decide. No rise called on noise.
04 Only Real Press Counts
0:35 Press-release copies, vendor lists and your own pages are set aside; only independent press is counted.
05 Every Number, Opened
0:41 Click any number and exactly those articles open, each with the line that names you.
On screen: The articles behind a number. The count equals the list.
0:47 Each record links to the original, and shows why it counted and which search found it.
0:52 Media Mentions Finder, built by Mambo for a national PR agency.
The problem
Clippings Inflate. Clients Ask for Proof.
A PR team has to show how much real press a client earned, and whether it is rising.
Alerts and media databases mix genuine coverage with syndicated press releases, vendor lists and directory pages, and miss small trade outlets, so teams count by hand and still can't defend the number.
What it does
Every Article Read. Only Real Press Counted.
Staff tell Periscope the company, its products, its people and the publications that matter. Each press update sends an AI planner through search engines, news archives and publication feeds, round after round, and asks for confirmation before it spends. Every article is read in full and sorted by source type, and only independent press is counted. Every number on the page opens the exact articles behind it.
- 01
Plain-Word Setup
Names, products, people, events and target outlets, with no search syntax to learn.
- 02
A Dozen Sources, One Run
Search engines, news archives, wire feeds and publication sitemaps, coordinated by an AI planner.
- 03
Only Independent Press Counts
Press-release copies, vendor lists and company pages are found, labeled and left out of the count.
- 04
Rises You Can Defend
A change is called up or down only when it beats normal swing.
- 05
Every Number Opens Its Articles
Each record shows the quote that names you, why it counted and which search found it.
What it doesn't claim
No Share of Voice. No Accuracy Score.
- Competitors' press isn't tracked yet, so there is no share-of-voice figure.
- Source types come from two AI reviewers; when they disagree, the article waits for review.
- We publish no accuracy figure for how articles are classified.
- Social posts and Reddit threads belong to the Communities & Social Monitor.
About this demo
Recreated in Code, With a Fictional Company.
The demo rebuilds the redesigned Coverage page with an invented warehouse-robotics company, invented outlets and invented articles. The search rounds are shortened and marked TIME-LAPSE. Any list of search sources shown during the run is an annotation; the real page shows sources on each article.
